PET FED, India’s biggest pet festival is back!

Pets are more than just animals for most of us. Whether you’re a dog or cat person, these little animals are a bundle of happiness, bringing owners companionship and comfort. So, pet lovers can rejoice, knowing that PET FED, the biggest pet event in the country is back – and this year, it’s bigger and better.

Founded by entrepreneur Akshaye Gupta and funded by Bollywood actor Dino Morea, PET FED garnered many followers in its first two years, and pet parents are already queuing up for December. This year, there’s a special event on offer – dog parents can officially attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most dogs wearing bandannas.

This pet convention is a great way to pamper your pet; your four-legged friends can enjoy free grooming sessions, take part in a fashion show where styled animals walk the ramp, and take pictures in photo booths after accessorizing your pet with fancy props. There’s also a pet adoption camp, and there will be a wide variety of pet supplies on sale.

For you, there will be live music and comic performances, stalls stocked with tempting food, and a fun-filled day. Families will be happy to know that storytelling, painting and other activities will be planned for kids.

And on top of this, all proceeds from the event will go to animal NGO, Friendicoes.

As summarised by Gupta, “[Pet Fed] is not just an event. It is a celebration of the joy and love that we have in our hearts for our furry friends.”
